1963 Jaguar MK2 3.4L

This beautiful example of Jaguars glory years was U.K. built and exported to New Zealand, first registered on 11/02/63. The underneath is very sound no signs of rust but as you will see there was a radiator leak on the day of the photo shoot and the owner is taking car of this while getting it ready for its WOF.

3.4L Straight 6 Cylinder engine.

Manual 4 speed. 81280km on the clock.

The car has had the same owner for the past 21 years and the last WOF was in 2016 but it has been garaged and covered since, other than the occasional drive to run the motor. It does have trouble starting up on occasion but that’s what what you would expect of a car of this year that has sat for a while. As you can see from the photos the interior is in truly excellent condition other than a few niggles and the red leather seats have aged fantastically so driving around in this beauty is going to be a comfy and stylish drive.

The wood dash shows signs of ageing but nothing serious enough to divert the eye. The car underwent a restoration many years ago by the current owner and it was originally white before the restoration. The white wall tyre’s look amazing on this car but the keen eye will point out the MK2’s weren't originally fitted with them.
